Patient Stories

“Tell the story of the mountain you climbed. Your words could become a page in someone else’s survival guide.” Morgan Harper Nichols

A diagnosis of vasculitis can be a frightening and isolating experience. But the physical act of writing down thoughts and feelings can be cathartic and can counteract this feeling of isolation. We can connect with others, knowing that they alone understand our journey.

Reaching a diagnosis of vasculitis can also be challenging, it’s like piecing together parts of a jigsaw. Here is a selection of letters, written from the heart, which may help you join the dots.
