#GivingTuesday, a global day of giving, takes place on the Tuesday following Black Friday and Cyber Monday and is a chance to give something back after all that shopping! This year #GivingTuesday is the 29th November.

#GivingTuesday reminds everyone it’s good to give – and encourages people to come together and share the goodwill.

Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering some time or just spreading the word at the start of the Christmas shopping season, #GivingTuesday aims to encourage people, charities and businesses to donate their time, their money or their voice to help a good cause.

Thank You. The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation is fueled by the hard work and loyalty of our supporters. We are very grateful of proud of every penny and second that is given to us, be it through our events such as The Black & Red Ball, nominating us as a chosen charity, or by sharing our message on social media, Giving Tuesday is also the opportunity to say thank you for this much needed support.

We have summarised some of the ways you can ‘give’ this Giving Tuesday. You can do so in the traditional sense or you can ‘give’ by helping us amplify a Giving Tuesday awareness message.

You can help in the following ways –

1

Our charity relies on individual donations. Whether it’s a monthly contribution or a simple one off gift, every penny counts.

Will you be doing a bit of shopping over the holiday season? If so, please sign up to Easyfundraising to donate for free! When you shop through Easyfundraising, with one of the 3,133 shops and sites, they get a commission for your purchase. EasyFundraising then turns that into a donation that is passed on to us.

If you are signed up, you can also refer friends and family to generate more free donations!
